The Country Squire range is Fret-King’s nod to the guitar that started it all!
With the Fret-King Stvdio Country Squire, we have taken the liberty of respectfully raising the bar, with a one-piece maple neck with 22 frets, alongside a deliciously comfortable 60s shallow C profile. The neck utilises a 10" fingerboard radius to facilitate easier string bending, with a slinky, fast, playing action. By utilising an original spec small diameter truss rod, there is a much greater ratio of wood to metal, all contributing to keeping the vintage tone you would expect from this style of guitar.
Improving on a classic original is hard to do, but we just had to try. This model features a Fret-King Alinco V vintage voiced single coil pickup at the bridge and and a neck-mounted hum bucker.
